How to Use
- Prepare: Shake aerosol can vigorously for at least two minutes. Wear gloves and eye protection. Ensure adequate ventilation.
- Warm Engine: Bring engine to normal operating temperature and let it idle.
- Access Intake: Locate the best access point to the intake manifold before the intercooler (avoid spraying into corrugated rubber pipes).
- Spray in Bursts: Spray in short bursts of up to three seconds. After each spray, allow engine RPM to stabilize before continuing.
- Monitor Engine: If RPM increases excessively or knocking occurs, stop spraying and let engine return to idle.
- Mid-Point Pause: When half the can is used, let engine idle for two minutes before continuing.
- Complete Application: Continue spraying until can is empty. Let engine idle for another two minutes.
- Reassemble: Stop engine and reassemble intake system.
- Final Drive: Restart engine. Briefly accelerate to 2,500rpm ten times, or take vehicle on a short 5-8km drive. Let engine idle for one minute before stopping.
