JA 605W Solar Panel – JAM605

Description:

The JA Solar JAM-605 is a powerful 605-watt solar module built for high-performance solar arrays. Featuring high-efficiency monocrystalline / N-type bifacial or double-glass technologies (depending on variant), 144 half-cut cells, and advanced cell chemistry (TOPCon or PERCIUM), it delivers excellent energy yield even under less-than-ideal conditions.

This panel is ideal for large installations commercial rooftops, high capacity ground mount systems, solar farms, or hybrid solar-storage setups where maximizing power, minimizing balance of system costs, and ensuring long lifetimes matter. With high nominal voltage, sturdy frame and sealing, and proven durability, its engineered for both performance and resilience.

Key Features:

• Rated power 605W at STC (standard test conditions) high output per module
• N-type TOPCon or PERCIUM bifacial / double glass design for enhanced energy generation on both front and rear sides
• 144 half-cut mono cells (11BB or 16/72 configuration depending on variant) reducing resistive losses and improving shade tolerance
• Module efficiency around 22-23 % (front side) with bifacial gain on rear side in suitable installations
• High open-circuit voltage (Voc) and elevated maximum system voltage (usually ~1,500 V in many JA Solar DeepBlue / LB series modules)
• Robust frame, double-glass option variants for better durability, mechanical load, and reduced risk from environmental stress
• High quality connectors, including MC4 or similar, with well-sealed junction box ensuring minimal water/dust ingress
• Power tolerance often 0 / +5W, meaning youll almost always get at least the nominal rating or slightly more

Technical Specifications:

• Nominal Power (Pmax): 605 W
• Open-Circuit Voltage (Voc): approximately 52.26 V (varies by variant)
• Current at Maximum Power (Imp): ~13.17-13.77 A (depending on variant / temperature)
• Short-Circuit Current (Isc): ~13.8-14.1 A (varies)
• Voltage at Maximum Power (Vmp): roughly 44-46 V (est.) depending on load and variant (Voc some fraction) exact varies by module version
• Number of Cells: 144 (half-cut)
• Module Dimensions: ~ 2382 1134 30 mm (length width thickness) for many variants
• Weight: ~ 32.5-33.1 kg depending on variant (glass/glass tends to be heavier)
• Efficiency: ~ 22-23 % (front); bifacial gain potential adds extra % depending on rear illumination
• Power Tolerance: 0 to +5 W for many LB / bifacial-double glass series
• Maximum system voltage: often up to ~1,500 V in many LB class modules (check variant)
• Frame Material: Anodized aluminum, designed for mechanical load, high wind/snow load depending on installation
• Junction Box Protection / Connectors: IP68 or equivalent, well sealed, usually with 4 mm or larger cable leads
