Description:
Research has proven that the specific wavelengths of visible light destroy bacteria, mold and fungi cells and therefore reduce bacterial load. ellumi powered by Vital Vio technology uses these wavelengths to safely eliminate up to 99% of bacteria, including over 25 types of germs, while illuminating your surface with the flip of a switch. The LED Technology used in ellumi excites specific targeted molecules in harmful microorganisms through photo-activation which produces a build-up of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), causing cell wall damage and death over time. Germs are a pervasive threat in homes, public spaces and workplaces even after wiping and washing surfaces. Preventing deadly infections caused by the spread of these bacteria and other harmful organisms is a constant and costly battle. ellumi can safely and affordably provide continuous surface disinfection in any home, apartment or workspace and is proven to be effective on Strep, Staph/MRSA, E. coli, Salmonella plus many more bacteria, which are often found hiding on commonly used surfaces like countertops, cutting boards, tables, desks and more. This technology offers consumers a solution to a major health problem through continuous disinfection and therefore reduced risk of associated illness when used in conjunction with traditional cleaning methods.
